BASF Increases Polyalcohols Prices in North America

Effective Jan. 1, 2019, or as existing contracts permit, BASF will increase prices in North America for 1,6 Hexanediol (HDO), epsilon-Caprolactone (CLO), and Polycaprolactone (Capromer) by $0.10/lb.    HDO is used to manufacture industrial coatings including lower volatile organic compound formulations, polyurethanes, adhesives, and cosmetics.
